My Favourite Doctors - The Fifth Doctor (Peter Davison)
Favourite TARDIS Trios

WHAT.
Best title ever!
So you’ve somehow managed to watch every (existing) episode of Doctor Who, new and classic, and you want more. Why not give these terrific audio dramas from Big Finish Productions a chance?
Spare Parts

The inspiration for ‘Rise of the Cybermen’/’The Age of Steel’ (which isn’t worthy of licking the shit off this story’s shoes), ‘Spare Parts’ does for the Cybermen what ‘Genesis of the Daleks’ did for those ranting pepperpots.
Son of the Dragon

A purely historical tale that see the Doctor takes his companions, Peri and Eygption princess Erimem (one of the many great companions unique to this range) met Dracula himself, Vlad the Impaler (played by James Purefoy).
The Condemned

A spooky tale that sees the Doctor venture into a strange and unfamiliar land he has never ever visited before - Northern England. Manchester, to be specific.
City of Spires/The Wreck of the Titan/Legend of the Cybermen

A superb trilogy that sees the Doctor reunited with Jamie and (eventually) Zoe. To say any more would spoil the fun.
The Chimes of Midnight

The best of the Big Finish’s entire range, IMHO. This is one of my favourite Doctor Who stories and motivation for me writing this list in the first place.
Blood of the Daleks

A great two-part story that kicks off the Doctor’s adventures with the wonderful, the magnificent, the amazing, the glorious Lucie Miller (Sheridan Smith).
Relative Dimensions

Big Finish proves it can do a Christmas special just as well (if not better) as the television series. Reunited after some time apart, the Doctor and Lucie spend Christmas with the Doctor’s granddaughter, Susan, and her son, Alex (played by McGann’s own son, Jake).
Lucie Miller/To The Death

Think ‘Doomsday’, ‘Journey’s End’ and ‘The Angels Take Manhattan’ are heartbreaking? Ha, rank amateurs. You don’t know what it is like to have your heart broken until you have heard this one.
…No. No, and we must stop them.
A handy little guide for anyone interested in getting into Classic Who but are unsure what order the stories go in or which ones contain missing episodes.
